The Turkish Game Department allows hunting of wild boar all year long. Stalking hunts are best conducted during moonlit hours, while driven hunts are appropriate from September 20 to February 20. Weather conditions vary depending on the season, with summer temperatures for stalking hunts typically ranging from 15-20 degrees Celsius at night, and warmer temperatures during the day for driven hunts. We have organized a winter climbing excursion to Erciyes, the highest mountain in Central Anatolia. The campsite, "Sarimehmedin Yurdu" (1700 m), located in the south region of Aladaglar, is just a 2-hour drive from our starting point and is a preferred destination among trekkers and mountain climbers.
