Explore the Egyptian Museum, home to ancient treasures. Continue to the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Then visit the Step Pyramid of Saqqara.

Overnight in Cairo.

En route to St. Catherine, stop at:

• Elim (Exodus stop no. 7): "Twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees." – Numbers 33:9

• Dophkah (Exodus stop no. 9): "And they encamped in Dophkah." – Numbers 33:12

• Temple of Serabit El Khadem – archaeological site with inscriptions
  Arrive at St. Catherine (Mount Sinai). Overnight.

At dawn, ascend Mount Sinai, believed to be where Moses received the Ten Commandments.

Later, visit St. Catherine Monastery, the Basilica, the Burning Bush, and the Shrine of Prophet Aaron. Return to Cairo. Overnight.

Visit the Monastery of St. Anthony, father of monasticism, housing 5 churches and a vast library. If possible, also visit the Monastery of St. Paul, home to 4 ancient churches. Return to Cairo. Overnight.

Visit the sacred Monasteries of Wadi El Natroun, a key stop for the Holy Family:

• Monastery of the Syrians (Deir El-Suryani)

• Anba Bishoy Monastery, residence of the late Pope Shenouda III
  Return to Cairo. Overnight.

Option 1: Transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
Option 2: Begin the 4-day Nile Cruise extension. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan.
Upon arrival: Check-in to cruise, enjoy lunch, Felucca ride, and dinner onboard. Overnight on cruise.

After breakfast, visit the High Dam and Philae Temple.
Sail to Kom Ombo, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo.
Lunch and dinner onboard. Overnight en route to Edfu.

Visit the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt.
Sail to Luxor. Explore the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings.
Overnight on cruise.

Disembark after breakfast. Visit the East Bank, including Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.
Fly back to Cairo. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
