What makes this tour special
Itinerary
Your journey begins in the morning with pickup from your hotel or a designated meeting point in Diyarbakır. We leave the city behind and drive towards Şanlıurfa, one of the most historically important regions of Southeastern Türkiye.
Our first major visit is Göbeklitepe, the UNESCO-listed archaeological site dating back to the Neolithic period. Here, you will walk among the remarkable T-shaped stone pillars and learn how the discoveries made at Göbeklitepe changed our understanding of early human communities, beliefs and monumental architecture.
After exploring Göbeklitepe, we continue south to Harran, famous for its distinctive traditional beehive-shaped houses. During our visit, we explore the historical settlement and see highlights such as the traditional Harran houses, the remains of the Harran Grand Mosque and the historic surroundings of Harran Castle. The landscape and architecture make Harran one of the most memorable stops in the region.
Following Harran, we return to Şanlıurfa city centre for our walking tour. We visit the famous Balıklıgöl (Pool of Abraham) and explore the surrounding historic quarter. We continue through the old streets, traditional bazaars and local shopping areas, where you can experience the atmosphere of daily life in Şanlıurfa.
Depending on timing, there will be free time around the historical bazaar to taste local coffee, shop for spices, souvenirs and regional products, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the old city. Balıklıgöl and Şanlıurfa's historic bazaars are among the city's signature cultural stops.
At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel and check in.
In the evening, guests may optionally join a traditional Şanlıurfa Sıra Night, with local food, music and regional entertainment.

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and depart for Halfeti, a beautiful riverside town located along the Euphrates.
Upon arrival, enjoy some time to discover the atmosphere of Old Halfeti, known for its stone architecture, peaceful river views and partially submerged historical settlement.
One of today's highlights is a boat trip on the Euphrates River. During the cruise, you can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding landscape and see Rumkale from the water. We also pass the partially submerged Savaşan Village, famous for its iconic mosque minaret rising from the water. Halfeti's Euphrates boat route, Rumkale and Savaşan Village are among the area's best-known experiences.
After the boat tour, we return to Halfeti, where you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant. This is a good opportunity to try regional dishes while enjoying views of the Euphrates.
In the afternoon, we begin our return journey towards Diyarbakır.
Upon arrival in Diyarbakır, you will be transferred to your hotel or the agreed drop-off point.
