6 Nights 7 Days Bhutan Festival Tour 20246 Nights 7 Days Bhutan Festival Tour 2024

6 Nights 7 Days Bhutan Festival Tour 2024

Paro Tshechu is a popular festival in Bhutan. Featuring dances performed by trained monks and laymen in amazing masks and costumes. Tshechus are one of the best ways to experience the ancient living culture of Bhutan. A Tshechu is a Buddhist festival in honour of Guru Rimpoche, the saint who brought Buddhism to Bhutan. A highlight of the Paro Tsechu is the unfurling of the “thongdroel” – a silk Thangka so large it covers the face of an entire building and is considered a sacred blessing. ‘Thongdroel’ is a religious picture scroll, and is only exhibited for a few hours at daybreak on the final day of the festival enabling the people to obtain its blessing. This holy scroll “confers liberation by the mere sight of it” (the meaning of the word ‘thongdroel’ in Bhutanese). This tour also takes advantage of the beautiful spring time growth with stunning hikes through the countryside to a Rhododendron forest in Phobjikha, the sacred sites of Paro, Thimphu and Punakha.

Traveling is better with events. Countless events are held in the most attractive, historical, and touristic cities. Now you can attend to any of the things you asked for. There is no need to think about accommodation, language, or transportation issues. TravelShop will arrange them all for you. Event tourism is a kind of tourism that focuses more on events than on location, historical background, or wonders of nature. Around the world, there are so many events held by local communities or organizations. They bring people around the world together and create opportunities to make new friends, have fun, and learn about a new culture. Cuisines are an added bonus to this theme, where you can find unique, indigenous drinks and foods, as well as colorful folkloric garments and music.

Those kinds of events are mostly organized for traditional or contemporary celebrations of culture. While city hubs can host these events, deserts can offer a variety of outdoor activities such as concerts, dancing, gastronomy, art, and sports. You can either plan your travels around a specific event or attend it while on vacation. Here are some destinations that may inspire you: The Oktoberfest has been held since 1810 and has attracted 6 million participants to Bavaria, Germany. Thousands of local and international spectators have come together in Ahmedabad, India, for the International Kite Festival since 1986. The sky has become colorful with different shapes of kites. The Carnival of Venice, Burning Man, Rio Carnival, and others... events are good reasons to travel...
