Ideally, the best time to do this trek is during the months of March to May and September to December. The trek follows the beaten trails of shepherds as it still provides summer grazing. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape. Along with changing landscape views, you get are of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. Tengboche Monastery locally known as Thyangboche or Dawa Choling Gompa is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the heart of the variant Khumbu valley. We stroll along the El Malecón promenade to the historic district of Las Peñas and enjoy the panoramic view from Cerro Santa Ana.
