Depart from your hotel at 8:30 AM and visit the Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue. The stop is planned with the shorter winter daylight hours in mind. Then continue to Terelj National Park.

At 5:30 PM, check in to a deluxe ger camp with heating and private shower facilities. After dinner, enjoy stargazing beneath Mongolia’s winter sky.
After breakfast, explore Turtle Rock, one of Terelj National Park’s best-known natural landmarks. Continue to Aryabal Meditation Temple, set in the mountains, and enjoy the surrounding scenery and Buddhist culture. Then return to Ulaanbaatar, arriving at approximately 10:30 AM.
