About this tour
Discover a quieter side of Turkey through the kitchens, markets and historic streets of Tokat. This four-day journey brings together regional meals, local food shops and cultural visits, with three nights in one hotel so you can settle in and enjoy the city. Taste oven-cooked Tokat kebab, discover bat and baklalı dolma, and travel to Zile to sample its distinctive pekmez. These specialities form part of the region’s recognised culinary heritage. Between meals, explore Tokat’s old town, visit its museum and browse traditional shopping streets. A day in the Pazar district adds Ballıca Cave and the historic Mahperi Hatun Caravanserai to the journey, while Zile offers another perspective on the region’s heritage. With guided discoveries, selected tastings and free evenings, this tour is designed for travellers who enjoy learning about a place through its everyday food and local traditions.
