●      Arrive in Asmara. Our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

●      In the afternoon, we will walk through the city center and visit some exciting places offered by Asmara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

●      Overnight in Asmara

●      The journey to Massawa begins after breakfast with the drive from Asmara to the east via the Massawa – Nefasit route from an altitude of 2400 meters to Massawa to zero sea level in about 3 hours.

●      Visit the port city of Massawa – the city of islands and the ‘Pearl of the Red Sea, a city that has been among the area’s most important ports for centuries. With its elegant Turkish-Egyptian-Italian style architecture and buying arcades, stunning mosques, and delicious fish and shellfish, Massawa is the perfect location to cater to all preferences.

●      Visit the first mosque in history (the Masjid Al-Sahaba in Massawa)

●      Stop Green Island, explore the coastline of this Island.

●      Overnight in Massawa

●      Morning boat trip to the uninhabited Green Island/Isola Verde for a short walk and the opportunity to swim. There may be some birdwatching possible on this little island. 

●      Following a memorable stay in Massawa, returning to Asmara. The gradual ascending toward uphill while enjoying the magnificent scenery and lush vegetation to Asmara.

●      The hairpin turning of the curved mountains is such spectacular scenery, as time allows with stops on the way at interesting sites and encounters with the local people. In about 3 hours drive, visitors will reach Asmara

●      Overnight in Asmara

●      At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for departure
