Itinerary

01:30 AM - 02:30 AM: Hotel pick-up (earlier for Kuta, Seminyak, or Nusa Dua; around 02:30 AM for Ubud).

03:30 AM - 04:00 AM: Arrive at the trekking starting point in Toya Bungkah village. Meet your local guide and receive a safety briefing.

04:00 AM - 05:30 AM: Begin the hike up the volcano in the dark, using flashlights provided by your guide. The hike is moderately challenging and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.

05:30 AM - 06:15 AM: Arrive at the summit (1,717 meters above sea level) in time to find a good spot and witness the spectacular sunrise over the surrounding landscape and Lake Batur.

06:15 AM - 07:00 AM: Enjoy a light breakfast while taking in the views and taking photos.

07:00 AM - 08:00 AM: Begin the descent back down to the starting point. The descent can be a bit tricky due to loose volcanic sand and rocks.

08:00 AM: Arrive back at the finish point and return to your hotel.
