Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in the morning, followed by a visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its spectacular rock-cut churches adorned with well-preserved Byzantine frescoes. Next, we head to Uçhisar, where you’ll have the opportunity to photograph the impressive Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia offering stunning panoramic views. We then stop for a delicious lunch at a traditional local restaurant before continuing to Avanos, a charming town by the Kızılırmak River (Red River). Avanos is renowned for its ancient pottery tradition dating back to the Hittite civilization. You'll watch skilled artisans create handmade pottery using centuries-old techniques. Afterward, we visit Paşabağ (Monks Valley), famous for its fairy chimneys and its history as a retreat for hermit monks in the 5th century. The striking rock formations here are among the most iconic in the region. The tour concludes at Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), where natural rock formations resemble various animals and human figures, offering a unique opportunity to let your imagination run wild. At the end of this enriching day, you'll be comfortably transferred back to your hotel.
