Visit the restored gymnasium and the reconstructed synagogue, showcasing the cultural diversity of this historic city.
Next, walk along the remnants of the royal Persian road, built by Cyrus the Great, leading from Susa to Sardes. Experience the legend of the golden Pactolos River, known for its historical significance in ancient times.
After a delicious local lunch, continue your journey to Philadelphia (modern-day Alasehir), the only one of the Seven Churches that was not criticized in the Book of Revelation.
