Travel to Alexandria, stopping en route at the Monasteries of Wadi El Natroun, built in the 4th century and one of the major Holy Family sites. Continue to Alexandria. Overnight in Alexandria.

Visit the Greco-Roman Museum, followed by St. Mark's Cathedral, where the Apostle began his mission. On the way back to Cairo, stop at Virgin Mary Church in Sakha, which enshrines the rock bearing the footprint of the Child Jesus. Overnight in Cairo.

Visit the Church of the Apparition of Virgin Mary in Zeytoun (site of the 1968 miracle), the Tree of Shelter in Matareya, and the Holy Family Cave in Mostorod. Continue to Tel Basta to see the miraculous well and the remains of destroyed idols. Return to Cairo. Overnight.

Travel to Minya, visit the Virgin Mary Church built over the Holy Family's cave by Empress Helena in the 4th century. See the rootless tree that once sheltered the family. Continue to Moharrak Monastery, believed to be the location where the Child Jesus laid the first altar stone. Return to Cairo. Overnight.

Visit the Coptic Museum, housing rare Christian artifacts. Continue to iconic churches including the Hanging Church (El-Muallaqa), Abu Serga Church, and the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Stop at Virgin Mary Church in Maadi, believed to be the Holy Family's departure point to Upper Egypt, and visit the spot where a Bible was found floating open on the Nile. Finally, visit the Coptic Cathedral, which holds the remains of St. Mark the Apostle. Overnight in Cairo.
