Tsaatan festival-2026 sports festival for folk art and nomadic culture

 After Breakfast we drive to Amarbayasgalant monastery. The monastery is 140 km south east of Darkhan. Amarbayasgalant, one of the most important monastery of Mongolia. It was built by Manchu emperor between 1727-1736 with more than 50 temples and 6000 lamas in honor of saint Zanabazar, the first Bogd and the great artist.  Today We overnight in tourist camp. After breakfast we drive to Uran togoo volcano. Uran togoo mountain high is 1686 m at the sea level, upper is 500-600 metr, and depth is 50-60m. We hiking to mountain.It is a dormant volcano and its surrounding is very beautiful.Today we overnight in guesthouse “Selenge”. B,L,D /04-July/

Khuvsgul lake. The khuvsgul lake is the cleanest lake in central Asia. The fish such as Coregonus autumnailis, lota, Brachuysmystax lenok, the water’s of the lake. Khuvsgul lake area is a motherland to unique tsaatan tribes. We stay in tourist camp . /Dalai tour -Mongolian ger/ B,L,D / 5-July/

10:00 Opening ceremony for sports festival for folk art and nomadic culture named “Reindeer festival-2026”.

– Art perfomance of artists of musical drama theater of Khuvsgul aimak.

– Holiday parade of Nomads and reindeers citizens.

– Ceremony for milk sample and tea of reindeers citizens

– Ceremnoy for lighting a festive torch

-Exhibition and trade for “khuvsgul Mongolian altan khoimor” brand products of the countryside, handcraft and traditional culture and life of Mongolian nomadic.

11:00 To make acquaintance with the life of reindeers citizens in visiting their home

* competition of reindeers

* tasting dairy products made from cow’s milk, cow’s milk tea, and taking photos with reindeers.

13:00 lunch time

14:00 To watch the match of national wrestlers /32 wrestlers/at the center place of festival /it will bee free to foreign and domestic tourists/

15:00 Take a measurement of free  times for visiting toursit and rural citizens and developments programs.

18:00 free tourism around khuvsgul lake.

21:00 Ceremoy of shaman and fire festival/ at the special place/

We overnight in ger camp.

05:00 to climb and go a walk to the top of hign mountain then to see sun rising in the morning around the tourists camp.

08:00 breakfast

09:30 National art performance “Taigiin songs melody”, folk talents and artists of rural soums and areas around khuvsgul seaside./ at the center place of Festival/

10:30 to take some activities of introductions named “Lets travelling around khuvsgul rural are” and fun copetition./ for citizens and tourist/

13:00 to have lunch

14:00 reindeer herder’s movement /at the  shore of khuvsgul sea/

15:00 Horse racing /khatgal village/

17:00 art performance ‘Sea melody’ and closing ceremony and award ceremony.

We overnight in camp. B,L,D

after breakfast we drive to murun city. We fly to Ulaanbaatar. B,L,D

Transfer to Chinggis khaan airport.
