The start of this tour is from the hotel door, from early morning at 04.30 am with a private car/taxi which will bring you on time to the starting point, minivans station to Komani. The only minivan to Komani uses to leave once a day at 05.00 is from Tirana.

The transport is with minivans from Tirana to Komani ferry stop, (4x4car depending on guest request on extra charge).

During the transfer to Komani ferry stop, usually, you will get a coffee stop at any Bar on the way to Komani.

The ferry leaves every morning at 09.00 am.

During the ferry trip, you can fully enjoy the view of the lake, of the rocky slopes, of the reflections of the nature on the water, amazing pictures to remember. In the ferry, you can enjoy even a drink or a coffee at the Bar or your lunch box.

After two hours of ferry trips, we will reach the Fierza stop. Here will be another minivan waiting to bring you toward Valbona valley, and drop off at the Guesthouse door. Tickets for the ferry and the other van to Valbona will be provided for you from the first minivan driver.

Accommodation around 13.30 am, and dinner at about 19.30 am at the guesthouse;

Free time in the afternoon for you to have a walk around the valley before dinner time.

From the ferry stop in Feirze to Valbona valley, at the guesthouse door, you will travel with the minivans arranged from the ferry company using the tickets that will be provided for you from the first driver from Shkodra/Tirana to Komani.

Stop At: Theth National Park

After an early breakfast, around 08.00 am, the day will start walking and hiking toward Thethi valley for about 6-7 hours.

The guesthouse owner will arrange the man with a mule to carry your luggage.

During this hike, you will walk straight ahead on the main road of the valley to Rragam village and then to the Gjelaj quarter. Here in Gjelaj starts the trail to Valbona pass (1750 mt) to proceed later in the Thethi National Park area between the woods and pastures. Usually, it takes 3 hours up and 3 hours down. This is a very well-marked trail and very trafficked with other foreign hikers. There are to cottage coffee – bars to stop for a short break or lunch break. You will find springs on the way to refill your bottles.

Stop At: Thethi National Park

After breakfast in the guesthouse, the day will start by walking to the waterfall and canyon.

Other cultural attraction you will visit is the Saint John Church, the Ethnographic museum and the Lock-in Tower and you will learn more about them from our local guide.

Return at the guesthouse at 12.00 and be ready for the minivan pick up to Shkodra. From Shkodra to Tirana, you will exchange and get an intercity bus or a private shared car like a minivan back to Tirana.

Stop At: Grunasi Waterfall, Theth Albania

That Waterfall in Grunasi is one of the highest ones in the Balkans, which source at his top rock, easy to be reached by walking in just 30 min. On the way there, in the same area of Grunasi, you can see even the canyon on the river of Theth, with goes all through the valley and create this fantastic canyon not to miss.
