Itinerary

Arrival and transfer from airport.

This half day city sightseeing tour will give you an excellent opportunity to learn the history of the Russian capital and see the most impressive sights of great historic and cultural value. Red Square, one of the most spacious squares of the world, famous for Lenin’s Mausoleum and Saint Basil’s Cathedral, and dominated by the grand Kremlin red-brick walls. We will make some photostops and we will also see the Zaryadye park, The Bolshoi Theatre, and walk along the storical Arbat street. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Free time. Guide and transport time: 6 hours

Breakfast. Full day city tour with photo-stops at: Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Armoury Chamber, GUM, Poklonnaya Hill, State Historical Museum, Arbat Street, Moscow State University, VDNKh complex. After that we will visit the Moscow Metro which covers almost the entire territory of the Russian capital. It is one of the world’s most heavily used metro systems, well known for the ornate design of many of its stations, which contain beautiful examples of socialist realism art. Free time. Guide and transport time: 09-17

Breakfast.   Transfer to the station for the high-speed train Sapsan to St. Petersburg (4 hours trip). Once arrived, meeting with the guide, transfer to hotel and check-in. Free time. Guide and transport time: for the transfers

Breakfast and transfer to the Husky-village "Arctic Village» located 40 km from St. Petersburg city center. Here we will experience an unforgettable dog-sledding ride in beautiful winter surroundings and enjoy the snow banana boat ride. Transfer from the husky park back to hotel. Free time. Guide and transport time: 09-17

Breakfast. Morning starts with a transfer to the gulf of Finland  (Baltic sea), here we will enjoy a 2 hours skating open-air activity at “Flagshtok” skating rink – the biggest in the city (skates rental and skating safety kit are included) that offers a stunning view on the gulf, the famous Gazprom Arena and Lakhta centre – the Europe’s tallest skyscraper. In the afternoon we will proceed with a tour to Pushkin where we will make a visit to the magnificent imperial residence - the Catherine Palace and park.

Next stop is the Pavlovsk imperial residence where we will have a stop in its park to make a horse winter tour on a Russian "troika"- (a traditional Russian sleigh or carriage drawn by three horses harnessed abreast) surrounded by breathtaking winter scene of the big Pavlovsky park). Return to hotel. Guide and transport time: 09-20 

Breakfast and check-out. The day starts with city tour with photostops at Palace Square to admire the State Hermitage Museum - Russia’s best gallery of world art. The principal building of the Hermitage Museum is the Baroque Winter Palace, the residence of the Russian Czars. You will also admire the splendid views of: the Arts Square, surrounded by 3 museums and 4 theatres; the historical “Strelka” (Cape) of the Vasilyevsky Island; the famous Nevsky Avenue considered the “heart” of the city, the St’ Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of Saviour on the Spilled Blood, and Kazan Cathedral. This tour will give you an insight into the history of the city and the Romanovs’ royal dynasty.
We will also visit the Peter and Paul Fortress and make a walk on its territory. The fortress is actually considered the place of birth of St. Petersburg. Free time to get ready for departure. Transfer to the airport.
