Ephesus Museum
The Ephesus Museum is located in the Selcuk neighborhood of the province of Izmir. After a significant renovation, it reopened in 2014. Its collection consists of the artifacts that were found during the archaeological digs at Cukurici Mount, Artemision, Ayasuluk St. Jean Basilica, and Ephesus. The rarest and most notable items in its collection are the statues of the Resting Warrior, Marcus Aurelius, the Roman Emperor and Stoic philosopher, the Head of Eros made of white marble, and the enormous Artemis statue.
