Kizilay Square

Kizilay Square, is a significant junction and hub in Ankara, Turkey. The square, which was initially named Kizilay Square derives its name from the Turkish Red Crescent headquarters, which was constructed on its northwest side in 1929. The square is formed by the convergence of two major boulevards. The south-to-north running Atatürk Boulevard, is colloquially known as the "Protocol Road." The other boulevard's east portion is called Ziya Gökalp Boulevard. Guven Park is also located to the southwest of it. It is a vibrant shopping and entertainment center for the city.
