Sakarya Museum

Sakarya Museum is housed in a historical house that was built in the first quarter of the 19th century. The house is situated in the city center and has traditional architectural features. The museum houses a collection of archeological and ethnographic artifacts from the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman periods. Plus, it has been known that Ataturk met with his mother and stayed here for a few days during the Turkish Independence War in June 1922.
