Sivas Ataturk Congress Museum

The Ataturk Congress Museum is located in Sivas. The structure was built in 1892 as a Mulki Idadi, an Ottoman high school, and later served as a congress hall during the Turkish Independence War. The Sivas Congress, which played a significant role in the Turkish Independence War, was held here under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1919. Its collection includes dozens of ethnographic artifacts that belong to the Congress, and are displayed on two floors of the museum.
