Tekirdag Museum

The former governor's residence, designed by Kazm Tahsin in 1927, now serves as the home of the Tekirdag Museum. After restoration, the museum reopened in 1992. The archeological and ethnographic section is located on the second floor, while the stone artifacts section is located at the entrance. Artifacts from the nearby archeological sites Perinthos, Heraion Teichos, Byzante, Apri, and others make up the museum's collection. The most intriguing object in the collection is the king's skeleton, which is a member of the Odrys family and was found at the Harekattepe Mound.
