About Adana Cinema Museum

The Adana Cinema Museum showcases the history of cinema through a rich collection of scenes from past to present, offering visitors detailed insights into Türkiye’s cinematic heritage. As the second cinema museum in Türkiye, it features wax statues of legendary actors, colorful snapshots from beloved Yeşilçam films that are still widely watched today, as well as photographs, interviews, and awards belonging to renowned figures of Turkish cinema.

Established in a restored traditional Adana house, the museum displays works dating back to the 1940s and hosts a comprehensive Cinema Library on its second floor. It is located in the Kayalıbağ neighborhood of the Seyhan district in Adana.

The museum is organized into thematic sections, each arranged with a clear and engaging layout. Notable rooms include the Nostalgia Room, the Yılmaz Güney Room, and the Mehmet Baltacı Collection Room, all of which offer visitors a deeper look into different aspects of cinema history.
