Albania in 8 Days: Coastal Beaches, Adventure & Cultural Heritage

Pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in.
 If time allows, enjoy a 1-hour walking tour to explore the nearby area and get a first glimpse of the city.
Overnight in Tirana.

Begin the day with a guided tour of Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll explore the historic Old Town, wander through its cobblestone streets, and visit the Gjirokastër Castle with its panoramic views over the Drino Valley.
After the tour, depart for Sarandë, arriving in the afternoon to enjoy some relaxing time at Mango Beach, known for its clear turquoise waters, sunbeds, and beachside bars.
 In the evening, immerse yourself in Sarandë’s lively nightlife, from seaside cafés to vibrant bars, before resting up for another energetic day of sightseeing and adventures tomorrow.

Overnight in Saranda.

Start the day with breakfast in Sarandë before departing for Livadhi Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches along the Albanian Riviera.

·         After breakfast at 10:00 AM, we proceed to the meeting point, where the trip officially begins at 12:30 AM.

The tour starts with a short stop at Livadhi Beach, followed by a series of carefully selected coastal highlights along the Himarë coastline. We make brief stops at hidden secret beaches, Aquarium Beach, and Jale Beach, each offering time for photos, short guided explanations, and enjoying the stunning scenery.

We then continue to Crystal Beach (Himarë), where you’ll have free time for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. Additional secret stops and the Secret Cave of Himarë allow more opportunities to swim, relax, and explore untouched spots along the coast.
A longer stop is made at Plazhi i Piratëve (Pirates Beach), where you’ll enjoy extended time for swimming and snorkeling in a breathtaking natural setting. The journey continues with short photo and exploration stops at Gjipe Beach, the Monastery Caves, and other scenic coastal viewpoints.
We also visit Shpella e Piratëve (Pirates Cave), with time for photos and guided commentary, before beginning our return journey.
The tour concludes with arrival back at the meeting point, already is 15.30pm.
Which means only one thing, lunch beak, to refill your senses.

We travel to Vlora and take our time to arrive there, during the coastal road various stop, one of them in Porto Palermo, Llogara Pass and coffe stop to Llogara National Park.

Check in and rest.

Start the day with a boat trip from Vlorë toward Sazan Island, stopping first at Shpella e Haxhi Alisë (Haxhi Ali Cave) for about 30 minutes to explore the fascinating rock formations.

Continue the boat ride to Sazan Island, where you’ll spend approximately 1.5 hours enjoying the island’s historic sites, nature, and panoramic views.

Lunch will be served on board, allowing you to relax while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
 In the afternoon, head to St. Vasil Beach, spending around 2 hours swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the clear waters. On the return trip, enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Karaburun Peninsula, admiring the dramatic cliffs and turquoise sea.

Return to Vlorë in the evening for check-in and overnight stay.

Take your time to enjoy the city’s nightlife.

Depart from Vlorë and head toward Narta Lagoon, where you’ll make a short stop of approximately 2 hours.
 Narta Lagoon is a scenic coastal lagoon known for its rich birdlife, peaceful surroundings, and beautiful views of the Ionian Sea, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and photography.

Continue the journey with visits to Ardenica Monastery, a historic 13th-century Orthodox monastery known for its beautiful frescoes and serene setting, and the Apollonia Archaeological Park, an ancient city with ruins that tell the story of Albania’s classical past.

After exploring these sites, drive the rest of the way to Tirana and check in to your hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner featuring traditional Albanian cuisine, accompanied by a folklore music show and troupe dancing, celebrating the end of your memorable journey.
