The last stop on our way to the south is to visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. King Sneferu’s Bent Pyramid had not been made correctly. Yet, it was a great learning experience for the Egyptians and a step further for building Giza Pyramids. The Red Pyramid was the biggest and tallest pyramid standing in the kingdom until Sneferu’s son, Khufu, outdid his father by building his own pyramid at Giza plateau.
