Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera and one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The crater supports around 25,000 large animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and the endangered black rhinoceros, making it one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing.
Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest national parks, is famous for its open savannah, ancient baobab trees, and impressive elephant population. The park is home to thousands of elephants as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and a wide variety of bird species, offering an excellent safari experience in northern Tanzania.

Itinerary
You will be picked up early in the morning from the airport, hotel, or your residence and begin a scenic drive of approximately 4 hours to Tarangire National Park. Lunch boxes will be provided for the journey.
Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through Tarangire National Park, known for its vast savannah, iconic baobab trees, and rich wildlife.
Stop for lunch at a designated picnic area inside the park, then continue your afternoon safari in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and other wildlife.
Later, transfer to Serena Luxury Lodge or a similar property for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart with your lunch boxes for a short drive to Ngorongoro Crater.
Stop at the crater viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views before descending into the caldera for a morning game drive. Explore the crater’s diverse landscapes and look for wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and black rhinos.
At midday, enjoy lunch at the picnic area near the hippo pool.
After lunch, begin the drive back to Moshi, where you will be dropped off at your designated location.
