3-Day Private Bahariya Oasis, Black & White Desert 4x4 Camping Safari

Venture deep into Egypt's Western Desert on this 3-day (2-night) private 4x4 desert safari from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis, the volcanic Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, Agabat Valley, and the chalk-sculpted White Desert National Park. Accompanied by a private desert guide and experienced 4x4 Bedouin driver, this adventure includes 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners (breakfast on Day 1 and dinner on Day 3 are not included).

Depart your Cairo or Giza hotel at 06:30 on Day 1 for the 4-hour drive (360 km) to Bawiti in Bahariya Oasis. After a home-cooked oasis lunch, transfer into a private 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser to explore the volcanic cones of the Black Desert, the natural hot spring at El Haize Bedouin village, the quartz arch of Crystal Mountain, and the golden limestone amphitheater of Agabat Valley (with desert sandboarding) before camping overnight under the stars in the White Desert (Night 1: Full Board Private Bedouin Desert Camp with sleeping bags, mattresses, and private chemical toilet tent).

On Day 2, wake to sunrise over the wind-carved Mushroom, Chicken, and Rabbit chalk formations of the White Desert before returning to Bahariya Oasis for lunch, a afternoon 4x4 tour of Salt Lake, Dest and Maghrafa Mountains, Bir El Ghaba warm springs, and sunset at English Mountain, followed by dinner and overnight at an oasis eco-lodge in Bahariya (Night 2: Full Board Oasis Hotel, e.g., Oasis Heritage Hotel or Tzila Lodge). On Day 3, visit the Museum of the Golden Mummies, the 26th-Dynasty Tombs of the Nobles (Bannantiu and Zed-Amun-Ef-Ankh), and the Temple of Alexander the Great before lunch and the 4-hour return drive to Cairo (drop-off by 17:00).
