Sandoval Lake is a marvel for the eyes and the senses: its waters, surrounded by aguaje palm trees (a typical fruit from the jungle that you cannot miss trying), are the habitat of an unimaginable amount of fish, more than 6,500 species! they live here!

Itinerary
- One of our representatives will be waiting for you upon arrival at Puerto Maldonado.
- Immediately we will go to the port of Lake Saldoval for 45 minutes by boat.
- Upon arrival, we will take a walk through a tropical forest where the importance of the place to visit will be explained. As we progress we will observe natural bamboo, a habitat for monkeys, sloths and macaws.
- After arriving at the Sandoval port we will embark on a rowing boat until we reach our lodge where you will be given your respective rooms.
- After a short rest, we will take a boat to go watch the sunset in the Amazon jungle accompanied by monkeys and bats.
- then we will return to the lodge, take a boat and go in search of alligator sightings.
- Finally, we will return to the lodge to have dinner and rest.
Very early we will go to the macaw clay lick by boat for 30 minutes. approx.
Upon arrival we will observe, varieties of parrots and macaws feeding on the bark of the trees, very rich in minerals, dozens of blue, yellow, and red macaws take turns eating minerals in the dead palm trees or in the palm trees that nest them.
Then we can observe the giant otters. We will be at the appropriate time.
Later we will return to the lodge to enjoy a well-deserved breakfast after a while we will go for a walk in the middle of the jungle observing the way giant trees, emblematic of the Amazon such as LOPUNA (kapok) CHIHUAHUACO (iron tree) CHESTNUT (Brazil Nut), our guide will explain about how this product is harvested.
After this experience, we return to the lodge at noon to enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon we will enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Finally, we will have dinner and rest
- Our last day will start very early enjoying breakfast.
- Then we will board a boat to go to monkey island where we can see three species, white capuchin monkeys, black capuchin monkeys, and squirrel monkeys.
- Finally, we return to the city of Puerto Maldonado and will be taken to the airport or bus station.
