Itinerary

Today you will arrive in Asuncion. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
Asunción, Paraguay's capital located on the bank of the Paraguay River, is the hub of its political, commercial, and cultural life.
Downtown Asunción is small enough to be explored on foot and the many sites and attractions offer a fascinating window into Paraguayan history and culture. Downtown Asunción exhibits a fusion of contradictions: modern and colonial architecture, Spanish and Guaraní languages, bustling commerce, and plenty of places to sit, relax, and people-watch.
Enjoy discovering this beautiful city in the afternoon.
This day enjoy a city tour, we will visit the modern and colonial areas of Asuncion, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Government Palace, Pantheon of Heroes, Presidential Residence, and the Port ending the traditional handicraft market La Recova. At the end of the tour, transfer to the bus terminal in Asuncion to board the bus to Ciudad del Este. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
In the morning, visit to the Brazilian side of the falls, with a wonderful panoramic view of the more than 20 waterfalls. In the afternoon, visit to the Bird Park, a large aviary that houses more than 900 birds of 150 species, mostly Brazilian birds. One-third of these species are considered at risk of extinction.
Entrance fees to to Iguazu Falls are not included.
Return to the hotel.
Breakfast, and maybe you want to do a full-day visit on your own to the Argentine side of the falls.
A brief stop on the way back at the Duty free shop for shopping.
