Xanthos is an ancient Lycian city that originated during the Hittite era, later to be conquered by the Greek and Persian empires. The Lycian population created a centre for both culture and commerce here at Xanthos. Today the ruins are a popular tourist stop for both their stunning preserved ruins, fantastic view but they also hold the mystery of what happened to the city. Many theories tell of different people destroying it with some saying it was a natural disaster, however, there is no record of what happened. All we have today is the stories left behind by those who built this fantastic city. The afternoon you will head to the famous Patara Beach, here you can relax in the beautiful Turkish weather or swim on the crystal-clear water of the Aegean Sea. After the tour transfer back to your hotel in Patara.

You participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson, One of the best ways to learn about Turkish Village life style and the culture is learning how to cook Turkish cuisine from a local. (Breakfast included) After breakfast, we take our guests from the hotel and depart to Saklıkent. We visit to Tlos Ancient City which was an Lycian city and the settlement here is 4000 years old. The city is ruined but historian and archaeologist says that the city was one of the most important religious city of Lycia. The settlement of the city is on the hills and its believed in the mythology that Bellerophon lived in Tlos with his flying horse Pegasus and he has a king type tomb in the necropolis dedicated by citizens of Lycia..Tlos Rock Tombs,Rome Bath,Agora and Theatre gives you magnificient panaromic reef.We have a break at any restaurant. You can have a rest in restaurant’s pavilion or take photos.After lunch,we arrive at Saklıkent to explore hidden paradise.Saklıkent Canyon is 18 km long 300 meters high unique canyon. Saklikent gorge is the second longest gorge in Europe.You can walk for 1 hour or do rafting or do zipline. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
