Welcome to Istanbul, the continent-straddling metropolis that the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans have called home. Your adventure begins at 1 pm in the meeting point, followed by a guided tour of the Old City with your expert leader. Visit the scene of many a chariot race in the ancient hippodrome, check out the Blue Mosque, take a walk past the wares of the Grand Bazaar and marvel at the architectural masterpiece that is Suleymaniye Cami. The tour will be over around 17:30. Overnight in Istanbul.

BOSPORUS BY BOAT; a traditional excursion by
boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore lined with old
wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages.
During the excursion, you will see the magnificent sights of the following
attractions from your boat. See Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks
and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is
Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of its marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a
great variety of artists, gather every sunday to display their work along the
street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a
synagogue existing side by side for centuries. RUMELI FORTRESS (view from
boat), Built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul
was completed in only four months to control and protect the infamous Bosporus
passage. It is one of the most beautiful works of military architecture
anywhere in the world. BEYLERBEYI PALACE (view from boat), is the summer
residence of Ottoman sultans exists in its original renovated glory featuring
original antique furniture and magnificent gardens with the Harem on the Asian
side of Istanbul. Lunch break at the Turkish restaurant. After the lunch we will then take you to the GRAND SPICE BAZAAR,
which is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping. Here you
will find; Exotic Spices and Herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish
Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes
totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods in Souvenir Shops and
stores. After
the tour transfer to Istanbul Airport for domestic flight to Denizli (Cardak
Airport) Transfer from airport and check in to your hotel in Pamukkale. Dinner
and overnight in Pamukkale.

After breakfast we
are departure Pamukkale. Afterwards we shall visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale
(cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this
natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural
springs. Denizli/Pamukkale means seaside in Turkish and is located on the Buyuk
Menderes River. It is a growing industrial town, known for its textile
industry and outlet shopping. You will visit one of the famous textile factories
of Pamukkale. This tour
will end approximately 18.30 and you will be back to your hotel. Dinner
and Overnight in Kusadasi.

Lace up your sensible shoes and charge your
camera. Today starts with a visit to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved
classical cities in the Eastern Mediterranean and arguably the greatest
Greco-Roman site in the world. Once the capital city of Roman Asia Minor, the
city has a fascinating history that really comes alive with a local guide to
enhance the experience. The ruins are in incredible shape considering their
age, and it’s not difficult to image them in their full glory 2000 years ago.
This ancient city was extremely sophisticated with running water, public
toilets, a renowned medical institute, a brothel and Roman baths. The theatre
is well preserved and regularly hosts concerts, but it's the magnificent
library that takes most people's breath away. From Ephesus, drive to Selcuk to
feast on the popular gozleme (Turkish pancake) as it's made in front of you,
then visit the Isa Bey Mosque, and the remains of the Artemis Temple.
This afternoon there is an opportunity to visit a carpet weaving center where
you can discover all about this traditional art form, from dying the wool to
traditional weaving on wooden looms. Regardless if you are in the market for a
new rug or not this is an opportunity to support local weavers enjoy some
Turkish hospitality, over a cup of tea of course, and discover the beauty of
Turkish Rug Making.
Late afternoon head to the small village of Sirince to taste the local fruit
wine and enjoy sunset.
After the tour drop back to your hotel.
Overnight Kusadasi. Whatever you do, make sure you're ready to head back to
Izmir by 6 pm as the Mavi Konya, an overnight train, will be waiting to
transport you through the night to the central Anatolian city of Konya.

Wake up in Konya, a traditional Turkish city that's closely linked with the whirling dervish sect of Islam developed in the 13th century by Celaleddin Rumi, considered one of Islam's greatest Sufi mystics. Take an opportunity to visit the Mevlana Museum and stretch your legs in town before hitting the road for a 3-hour journey to Cappadocia. Keep an eye out for the fairy chimneys, the hallmarks of Cappadocia's otherworldly landscape, as you drive across the Anatolian plains. Stop enroute at one of the underground cities that once provided a safe haven in times of war or persecution. Arrive in Goreme in the late afternoon and take a sunset valley walk before settling in for the evening. Overnight in Cappadocia.

After breakfast between 08:00 am and 09:30 am pick up from hotel. Final timing one day before will be given you by your tour consultant. We will drive you to Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best preserved Underground cities in Cappadocia. Than see the Uchisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia. After Uchisar, you visit Goreme Open Air Museum, the Heart of Cappadocia. Goreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks. Next stop is Cavusin, which is an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin you go to the restaurant in Avanos to have lunch. After lunch, you visit a pottery work shop, to see how to make potteries. Then you go to Love Valley. Love Valley Cappadocia is a hidden valley with scenic formations to say the least. Despite the resemblance to man hood, these amazing rock formations are far from man-made. After Love Valley you visit another workshop to see Cappadocian handwoven carpets and kilims. Next stop is Devrent Valley, which is also called Imagination Valley, where you can see natural rock formations looking like animals. Then you head to a wine shop in Urgup for wine tasting. Last stop is Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats, which is the symbol of Cappadocia. This tour will end approximately at 18.00 and you will be returned back to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Wave goodbye to Cappadocia and transfer to the airport for a flight back to Istanbul, then grab your bags and jump on the metro as the group heads to the Sultanahmet District for the final evening of the trip. Meet up with your travel buds in the evening and take a stroll across the Galata Bridge to one of the city's trendiest neighborhoods, a place of contradictions where tool-selling tradesman share space with chic cafes and galleries – this is the place to be seen. Try a local favourite, balik ekmek (fish sandwich), for dinner, then cleanse the palate with a baklava. Maybe check out a few of the bars, or simply enjoy a farewell cay (Turkish tea) overlooking the Bosphorus. Overnight in Istanbul.
