Slovenia Private Tour 8 Days 7 Night

(Breakfast included) Your first morning in sLOVEnia. Time to fall in love with its Capital city Ljubljana. A guided walking tour will take you to all of the highlights of its Old Town including architectural masterpieces of Plecnik. Experience the funicular ride to the Castle. Ljubljana is locals and tourist-friendly town, you are going to enjoy some time for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon take off for the half-day trip to the mysterious underground world of the Postojna Cave and visit the famous Predjama Castle. Return to Ljubljana in time to mingle with the locals in a lively area along the river.

(Breakfast and Dinner included) Time to say goodbye to Ljubljana, and off to Alpine area. Just a short journey will bring us to the iconic Lake Bled for two nights. Your hotel GH Toplice or similar is right on the waterfront. Pletna boat ride to its island and a Cream cake tasting is a must. And with us, it is all included! In the afternoon we take you to the nearby Medieval town of Radovljica. We´ll visit the Beekeeping Museum, gingerbread workshop then tables will be reserved for a typical Slovenian dinner. (Breakfast included) Put your hiking shoes on, we´re going for a short hike through Vintgar gorge, then up to Mount Vogel by a cable car, and hike to Savica waterfall by Lake Bohinj. Today we are really going to enjoy some Alpine scenery at its best. Upon return to Bled, we´ll stop for a coffee at former Tito´s villa to contemplate the county´s recent past. Your guide will provide some tips for your dinner tonight.

(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) More Alpine scenery today. The journey takes us towards Kranjska Gora, Slovenian top ski resort, by Planica to see the second biggest ski jump in the world, then across the highest mountain pass in the Julian Alps to the Valley of Soča river, the area that has been one of the major frontlines during the WW 1. Fairytale scenery will bring us to Kobarid, where we´ll visit the WW 1 Museum, awarded the European Museum of the Year in 1993. Then we´ll follow the Soča river south into the winegrowing area of Goriška Brda. We´ll visit a typical winery, taste some of its vines and have a late lunch. Our final destination today is a picturesque nearby village of Šmartno. We´ll check in Hotel San Martin or similar for a night, the rest of the evening is yours, to explore the village on your own.(B,D)

(Breakfast included) Ther´s a lot more to see while touring Slovenia today. Our first break will be a beautiful village of Štanjel and its Ferrari gardens in the Karst area. Then further to the village of Lipica the home stud farm of famous Lipizzan horses, to attend the Lipizzan Horse performance show. After time for lunch, we´ll continue towards the Adriatic coast and its pearl, the town of Piran for two nights. Hotel Piran or similar is situated in the old town. The rest of the day is yours, to take in some Mediterranean atmosphere.

(Breakfast and Dinner included) Enjoy the guided walking tour of Piran this morning. Hear about its rich history, enjoy the scenic stroll to its salt plants. In the afternoon we´ll take you to the half day trip to Trieste ( Italy ), for sightseeing and shopping. Upon return to Piran, enjoy the farewell dinner at the seaside restaurant.
