Egypt by Nile Cruise: Cairo, Luxor & Aswan

Meet your private Egyptologist guide and travel by deluxe air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza Necropolis. See the Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, which stands near the Pyramid of Khafre and the Valley Temple.

Continue to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, an important landmark in the development of pyramid construction. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital and an archaeological site rich in history.

After an early hotel checkout, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam, then transfer to your Nile cruise to embark and check in for your three-night stay. Lunch is served on board.

Later, visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries. You may also choose an optional felucca ride, with visits to Kitchener Island and a Nubian village.

An optional early-morning excursion to Abu Simbel is available. Later, sail toward Luxor, stopping at Kom Ombo Temple, a distinctive double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris.

In the morning, visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus. Continue sailing to Luxor.

Explore the vast Karnak Temple Complex, one of ancient Egypt’s most impressive religious sites, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple. Return to the cruise for your final night on board.

An optional early-morning hot-air balloon flight over Luxor is available. After breakfast on board, explore the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Then transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.
