The TSG team will collect you from your Istanbul hotel early in the morning and take you to the domestic Konya flight, which takes about an hour. Once we arrive, we will embark on a city tour.

Mevlana, the founder of the Islamic Sufi sect, spent his life in Konya. The Mevlana Museum, which was previously the lodge of the whirling dervishes and now houses the tomb of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, a renowned figure from the 13th century, is one of the city's most popular attractions. This is the largest Sufi center in Turkey, and its unique fluted dome covered in turquoise tiles makes it one of Turkey's most recognizable landmarks.

The Karatay Madrasah is a Seljuk period artifact in Konya, built in 1252 as a theological school, and now housing many beautiful historical tiles. The Alaeddin Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Turkey, was built by the Seljuk Sultans of Rum in 12th century. Its columns of different sizes from earlier periods make it architecturally interesting.

We will have some free time to relax and enjoy the scenery before returning from Alaeddin Hill, where traces of Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman civilizations can still be seen today. The tour will end with transfers to the airport
