About this tour
Experience one of China’s most celebrated landscapes aboard a Four-Star Li River Luxury Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. This relaxing one-way journey follows approximately 83 km of the Li River, surrounded by dramatic limestone karst peaks, bamboo-lined riverbanks, peaceful villages, and reflections that have inspired Chinese artists and poets for centuries.
Departing from Zhujiang Wharf near Guilin, the cruise sails downstream toward Yangshuo, with approximately 4 hours of cruising, depending on river and operating conditions.
Relax inside the comfortable panoramic lounge or head to the open-air observation deck for uninterrupted views and excellent photography opportunities. Along the way, admire famous Li River landmarks including Nine-Horse Mural Hill, Yellow Cloth Reflection, Langshi Scenery, and other distinctive karst formations.
A Chinese-Western buffet lunch is served on board, while available commentary introduces the landscapes, legends, and cultural stories of the region.

What makes this tour special
Itinerary
Your Li River experience begins at Zhujiang Wharf, the main departure point for scenic cruises traveling from Guilin toward Yangshuo.
After boarding the four-star cruise vessel, settle into the comfortable indoor passenger area featuring large panoramic windows, or make your way to the open-air upper deck for beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
Once the vessel departs, cruise downstream along approximately 83 km of the Li River. The journey normally takes around 4 hours, although sailing time may vary according to river levels, weather, navigation, and operational conditions.
As Guilin gradually disappears behind you, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic. Limestone mountains rise directly from the countryside while bamboo groves, rural villages, farmland, and reflections on the river create the scenery for which the Guilin–Yangshuo region is famous.
During the cruise, you will pass several celebrated Li River landmarks, including Langshi Scenery, Boy Worshipping Guanyin, Nine-Horse Mural Hill, and Yellow Cloth Reflection.
One of the most recognizable sections is Yellow Cloth Reflection, famous for the spectacular combination of karst peaks and calm river scenery associated with the landscape depicted on China's RMB 20 banknote.
During the journey, enjoy a Chinese-Western buffet lunch, with dishes and menu selections determined by the cruise operator. Drinks and additional refreshments may also be available depending on the vessel and service package.
Passengers can spend time between the air-conditioned interior and the open viewing areas, making the cruise suitable for both sightseeing and photography.
Where available, onboard or QR-code commentary provides additional information about the mountains, landmarks, local legends, and culture of the Li River region.
Arrival in Yangshuo
The cruise concludes at the designated Yangshuo wharf, normally Longtoushan Wharf or another approved arrival point depending on water levels and local operating arrangements.
After disembarkation, the cruise service ends. You can continue independently into Yangshuo and explore West Street, local cafés, restaurants, shops, and the surrounding countryside.
