Kuzalan Nature Park, located 19 kilometers away from Dereli District of Giresun, is a destination that attracts attention with its natural beauties. After visiting the lake, Kuzalan travertines and Göksu travertines, also known as 'white stones', are among the notable features of the region.

Kuzalan travertines, located within the Kuzalan Nature Park, spanning an area of ​​approximately 500 hectares, spread over an area of ​​1800 meters and are the second largest travertine region formed in the forest in the world, after the Yellowstone National Park in the USA. The main spring in the surrounding area, which is covered with moss, creates a structure where the water flows and forms travertine.
