About this tour
TOUR PROGRAM
Kuzalan Nature Park, located 19 kilometers away from Dereli District of Giresun, is a destination that attracts attention with its natural beauties. One of the most distinctive features in the park is the waterfall, which is approximately 20 meters high. The observation terrace built opposite the waterfall attracts the attention of visitors with its impressive view and refreshing sound.
Located 500 meters away from the waterfall, Blue Lake offers a unique beauty, especially in the summer months when it turns turquoise under the influence of Göksu Stream. After visiting the lake, Kuzalan travertines and Göksu travertines, also known as 'white stones', are among the notable features of the region.
Kuzalan travertines, located within the Kuzalan Nature Park, spanning an area of approximately 500 hectares, spread over an area of 1800 meters and are the second largest travertine region formed in the forest in the world, after the Yellowstone National Park in the USA. The main spring in the surrounding area, which is covered with moss, creates a structure where the water flows and forms travertine.
After having our lunch, we have the opportunity to spend free time in Kümbet plateau. Those who wish can shop at the local women's market and taste the famous mastic rice pudding. After a full day, we turn our route towards Trabzon.
