Arrive Freetown; meet assist and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at Sierra Light House Hotel or Similar
After breakfast, go on a city tour of Freetown. Highlights include: The National Museum, St. George’s Cathedral, the State House, Freedom Gateway, and the Central Market. We will also visit Fourah Bay College at Mount Aureol, the oldest university in West Africa. Afterwards, visit the botanical gardens and get a stunning view of the city.

Overnight at Sierra Light House Hotel or Similar
After breakfast travel to Bunce Island. See Bunce Island Historic Slave Fort. Walk through the ruins of Bunce Island and experience the paths taken by Africans from the Coastal Rice Growing Villages of Sierra Leone to the Carolinas in USA. On the way back to Freetown stop at River No 2.

Overnight at Sierra Light House Hotel or Similar
After breakfast, drive to Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Enroute stop at Hill Station, picturesque Regent Village, and St. Charles Church, the oldest Stone-house church in sub-Saharan Africa and see the Krio architecture. Arrive at Tacugama. After lunch, continue to Banana Island by boat. Arrive on Banana Island and check into your hotel. This evening begin your tour of the Island.

Overnight at Banana Island Guest House or Similar
After breakfast, visit the twin-island villages of Dublin and Ricketts located on the coast. The two Islands are connected by a sliver of sand that is underwater at high tide. A stone bridge connects the path between the two islands. Learn about the culture and interact with the villagers.

Overnight at Banana Island Guest House or Similar
After breakfast, return to Free Town; transfer to the airport for your flight back home
