10 Day Albania Tour: Culture, Gastronomy & Albanian Riviera

After breakfast, depart from Shkodër and travel toward Koman Lake, one of Albania’s most scenic natural destinations.

Enjoy a boat trip across Koman Lake, surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes and peaceful waters. Continue to the Shala River, where you will have free time to relax, sunbathe, take photos, or choose activities such as ziplining.

Enjoy time for lunch at 5 Stinet Restaurant by the water before beginning your return journey to Shkodër.

After breakfast, depart from Shkodër and travel toward Theth, one of the most picturesque mountain villages in northern Albania.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the Albanian Alps, with stops along the way for photos at locations such as Boga Valley and mountain viewpoints.

Upon arrival in Theth, explore the village and, depending on available time, visit some of its main attractions such as Theth Church, Grunas Waterfall, and the traditional village area.

After breakfast, depart from Theth and enjoy another scenic drive through the Albanian Alps, with photo stops along the way.

Continue to Mrizi i Zanave, a well-known agritourism farm where the focus is on locally sourced, farm-to-table cuisine. Enjoy lunch and take a short tour to see local artisans at work and learn more about traditional food production.

After lunch, continue to Krujë, where you will visit Krujë Castle and explore the historic Old Bazaar. Enjoy some free time for shopping and browsing local handicrafts.

Later, take part in a carpet weaving workshop at Qendra e Artizanatit të Qilimit Krujë, offering a closer look at traditional Albanian craftsmanship.

After breakfast, depart from Krujë and enjoy a scenic drive toward Berat, with short stops along the way for photos and countryside views.

Before reaching Berat, take part in a traditional Albanian cooking class, where you will prepare local dishes and enjoy the meal you have created.

Continue to Berat, one of Albania’s most important historic cities. Visit Berat Castle, known for its panoramic views, historic churches and centuries-old architecture.

Later, walk through the UNESCO-listed neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica, famous for their traditional Ottoman-style houses and the distinctive character that has earned Berat the nickname “City of a Thousand Windows.”

After breakfast, depart from Berat and continue toward southern Albania.

Stop in Lazarat for a local gastronomic and cultural experience. Enjoy a cheese tasting brunch, sample traditional raki, and experience Albanian iso-polyphonic singing, one of the country’s distinctive musical traditions.

Continue the journey to Gjirokastër, with scenic stops along the way.

Upon arrival, visit Gjirokastër Castle and explore the historic Old Bazaar. Afterwards, enjoy free time to walk through the cobbled streets, browse local shops, and discover the atmosphere of the old town.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional inn or similar venue before checking in at your accommodation.

After breakfast, depart from Gjirokastër and travel toward the coastal town of Sarandë.

Along the way, stop at the famous Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), one of southern Albania’s most distinctive natural attractions. Spend approximately one hour exploring the area, enjoying the scenery and taking photos.

Continue to Sarandë, where you will enjoy lunch before heading to Mango Beach for free time. Relax by the sea, enjoy the coastal atmosphere, or spend the afternoon at your own pace.

After breakfast, begin the day in Vlorë and head to the harbor to board a full-day boat excursion along the Albanian Riviera.

Cruise toward Sazan Island and the Karaburun Peninsula, enjoying approximately 7 hours at sea with opportunities for swimming, beach stops, cave exploration and time to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and coastal scenery.

During the excursion, stop at St. Vasili Beach, where you will have around 2 hours to relax and enjoy lunch at the beach restaurant.

Continue sailing along the coastline with additional time for swimming and nature exploration before returning to Vlorë in the evening, around sunset.

After the boat tour, transfer to your accommodation in Vlorë.

After breakfast, depart from Vlorë and travel toward Tirana.

Arrive in the capital in the afternoon and enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or a short walk around the Skanderbeg Square area.

After dinner, transfer to your accommodation and spend the night in Tirana.
