Machu Picchu 2-Day Tour from Cusco with Sacred Valley

Your Machu Picchu 2-Day Tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will start the journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the most beautiful and culturally important regions near Cusco.

Our first stop will be a panoramic viewpoint, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the valley, mountains, farmlands, and traditional villages. Then, we will continue to Pisac, where you will visit its impressive archaeological site and learn about Inca terraces, temples, and ancient constructions. After the guided visit, you will have time to explore the traditional Pisac market, known for its handicrafts, textiles, and local products.

Later, we will travel through the Sacred Valley toward Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town famous for its stone streets, terraces, and impressive archaeological site.

In the afternoon, you will board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Urubamba River, mountains, and cloud forest. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our representative will welcome you and assist with your hotel check-in.

In the evening, your guide will visit you at the hotel to provide the briefing for your Machu Picchu visit the next day.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Early in the morning, you will go to the bus station in Aguas Calientes to take the tourist bus up to Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and follows a scenic mountain road to the entrance of the archaeological sanctuary.

Once inside Machu Picchu, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours with a professional bilingual guide. During the visit, you will learn about the history, architecture, temples, terraces, and most important areas of the Inca citadel, following the official circuit assigned according to ticket availability.

After the guided tour, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes. Then, you will enjoy lunch at a tourist restaurant before boarding the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the train station, our representative will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
