After breakfast, you’ll leave Kuala Lumpur behind and drive through the Karak Highway towards Jerantut. Upon reaching the jetty, either Labu Sentral or Kuala Tembeling, you’ll pause for a lunch stop (at your own expense) before boarding the longboat, the only access to this untouched wilderness.
The river journey begins, and as you drift along, nature reveals its peaceful side—lush greenery, curious monitor lizards occasionally gliding through the water, and fish that dart just beneath the surface. It’s a perfect moment to sit back, relax, and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
Once you arrive at the resort, you’ll check in and have a delightful dinner to recharge. Then, later in the evening, around 8:30 pm, a Night Jungle Walk awaits you. At 1,542 meters above sea level, this picturesque region is Malaysia’s largest hill station, known for its sweeping tea plantations and cool climate. The area was first developed by the British colonialist Sir William Cameron, who envisioned a peaceful retreat for residents from the lowlands seeking refuge from the heat. The charming colonial buildings scattered across the highlands add to the nostalgic atmosphere.
