Travel between the landmarks in a private air-conditioned vehicle with a driver, starting and finishing in Muscat. This tour brings together Islamic architecture, royal landmarks, waterfront views and traditional market life.
The planned route includes the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House Muscat, Muttrah Souq, Al Alam Palace and Muttrah Fort. Explore the mosque when visitor access is available, stop at the opera house for photographs, browse the souq and enjoy views of the Muttrah waterfront. At Al Alam Palace, admire the colourful façade from the public exterior area; the palace interior is not part of the tour. Muttrah Fort is a heritage stop, with any paid entry arranged separately.
Pickup and return are in Muscat. Please provide your hotel or pickup address when booking so that the meeting point and time can be confirmed. The order and length of stops can be adapted to traffic, visitor access and your interests. Interior visits depend on opening arrangements; sightseeing outside a landmark is offered when entry is unavailable.

Enjoy an approximately 4-hour private city tour, including travel between the stops. Pickup is at 08:30 from your confirmed hotel or address in Muscat; the planned return is around 12:30.
1. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: allow approximately 45 minutes to explore the mosque when visitor access is available. Wear clothing suitable for a religious site. An exterior sightseeing stop is offered if entry is unavailable.
2. Royal Opera House Muscat: continue for an approximately 20-minute exterior photo stop. Interior admission is optional, subject to availability, and not included.
3. Muttrah Souq and Corniche: spend approximately 45 minutes exploring the traditional market and waterfront. Browse frankincense, textiles and souvenirs; purchases are at your own expense.
4. Al Alam Palace: enjoy an approximately 15-minute photo stop at the public exterior of the ceremonial palace. The palace interior is not visited.
5. Muttrah Fort: enjoy an approximately 20-minute heritage and viewpoint stop. Admission, if you choose to enter, is paid separately. Guests who prefer to avoid steps can enjoy the surrounding waterfront instead.
Return by private vehicle to your confirmed address in Muscat. All times are approximate. The order and time at each stop may change with traffic, visitor access and your interests. Please provide your pickup address when booking.
