Day 04 - Nuwara Eliya

After a delightful breakfast, you’ll head to Kandy Railway Station to board a scenic train ride through the stunning tea plantations of Sri Lanka. This picturesque route offers an unforgettable experience of Sri Lanka’s natural beauty. Upon arrival at Nanuoya Station, your guide will meet you and transfer you to Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England” due to its colonial past.

In Nuwara Eliya, embark on a city tour that will include a visit to the Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy boating or simply stroll along the scenic shores. Explore the Hakgala Botanical Garden, home to a vast variety of flora, including roses and tree ferns, as well as fascinating wildlife such as monkeys and blue magpies.

Continue your journey to Meetiyagoda, located 10 km north of Hikkaduwa.
