- Trabzon is a settlement dating back to the 7th century BC. In ancient times, it was home to different civilizations such as the Colchis Kingdom, the Pontic Kingdom and the Roman Empire. Trabzon was one of the important cities of the Byzantine Empire and served as the capital of the Trabzon Empire between 1204-1461.
- Trabzon also attracts attention with its historical and cultural heritage. Important buildings and places such as Hagia Sophia Museum, Trabzon Castle, Atatürk Mansion and Trabzon Museum reflect the rich cultural past of the city.
- Hagia Sophia Church in Trabzon, which is considered a good example of late Byzantine churches, was converted into a mosque after Mehmet the Conqueror's conquest of Trabzon. During World War 1, the church was used as a warehouse, a hospital and then again as a mosque. It was restored between 1958 and 1962 with the cooperation of the General Directorate of Foundations and Edinburg University and opened to visitors as a museum after 1964. Finally, it was converted back into a mosque after a successful restoration.

We start the Trabzon City Tour with a visit to the Atatürk Mansion, which is one of the most beautiful examples of the city's civil architecture and where Atatürk stayed during his visits to Trabzon. We visit the Villa, which is decorated with the most luxurious and original furniture of the period, and then, after spending time in its wonderfully designed garden, we move to Trabzon Botanical Park.

Along the way, you can see the panoramic view of Trabzon Castle, Gülbahar Hatun Mosque and Tomb, Zağnos Valley, Historical Zağnos Paşa Bridge and Ortahisar (Kaleiçi) District. After the aquarium visit, we are moving to Trabzon City Museum.

Hagia Sophia, which is used as a mosque today, was built as a Byzantine church in the 13th century and has a unique value with its early Renaissance frescoes. After seeing the Hagia Sophia Mosque, historical frescoes and many historical artifacts in its garden, we move to Sera Lake Nature Park for lunch. After a lunch break at a local restaurant in Sera Lake, we move to Boztepe Observation Terrace for a bird's-eye view of the city.
