After breakfast at our hotel, we move to Uzungöl and make our first visit to a tea factory on the way. We learn the story of tea making and the secrets to brewing the best tea, and then we take a shopping break at the factory outlet. As we start shopping, we take a short shopping break at Sürmene Bıçak factory outlet on the road. We set off for Uzungöl again along the Solaklı Valley and reach Uzungöl, accompanied by the beauty of traditional village houses, tea and hazelnut gardens.
We start our visit in Uzungöl with the Observation Terrace, then visit the Artificial Waterfalls built to protect the lake from floods. We give you free time to participate in many activities in Uzungöl and its surroundings, and to spend pleasant time in decent restaurants and cafes with lake and nature views. We depart from Uzungöl at 16.00, arrive in Trabzon. We arrive at your hotel at the end of a happy day and give free time until our departure tomorrow.
After breakfast at the hotel, we move to Ayder Plateau and after a pleasant journey along the coast, we arrive at Fırtına Valley. After the break in Fırtına Valley, where we can participate in many activities such as rafting, zipline and swing, we move to Ayder Plateau.
By following the Fırtına Valley, one of the 200 ecological regions that need to be protected in the world, we first reach Çamlıhemşin and then Ayder Plateau. We visit the natural wonder Gelintülü Waterfall, which is located at the foot of Kaçkar Mountain, at an altitude of 1400m above sea level, and then we have free time on the Ayder Plateau. In your free time, you can take a pleasant walk in Ayder and sip your tea or coffee in front of Gelintülü Waterfall.
After sightseeing and free time, we meet in our tour vehicle at 16.00 and leave Ayder Plateau. After a necessary break on the way and at the end of the day, our Ayder Plateau Tour ends in Trabzon. We arrive at your hotel at the end of a happy day and give free time until our departure tomorrow.
After breakfast at our hotel, we set out for the Sumela Monastery tour and after a pleasant 1-hour journey, we arrive at Altındere National Park. We continue our journey by using the National Park minibus and then the 300m forest road to reach the Sumela Monastery. At the end of the path, historical aqueducts, stone stairs and visitor social areas welcome you. Before visiting the Sumela Monastery, which has a grandeur and inaccessibility similar to the medieval castles, we take a short rest break in the social area and enjoy the nature and the scenery.
We visit Sumela Monastery with its main rock church, chapels, student rooms, library, guesthouse, holy spring and many more. After visiting Sumela, we arrive at our tour vehicle and set off again for Zigana Pass. We take our lunch break at a local restaurant on the way.
Zigana Pass, one of the most important passages of the Silk Road, has been the gateway of Eastern Anatolia and Iran to the West throughout history. The New Zigana Tunnel, which was put into service in April 2023 on the Zigana Pass, which still maintains its importance today, is the longest road tunnel in Europe. We arrive at Karaca Cave via the 14.5 km long New Zigana Tunnel. After visiting Karaca Cave, which is almost an art gallery with its stalactites, stalagmites and travertines, we take a break at the factory outlet that sells the famous Black Sea fruit pulp and kome.
Our next stop is Torul Glass Terrace. After the Glass Terrace experience, we move to Hamsiköy. Hamsiköy Road, which is also the Historical (Old) Zigana Road, will fascinate you with its view. We do not neglect to arrive in Hamsiköy and eat the famous rice pudding.
