Hagia Sophia - Originally built as a cathedral in 537 ADS by Byzantine Emperor
Justinian I, Hagia Sophia has a rich history. It served as the main church of
the Eastern Orthodox Church for nearly a millennium until the Ottoman conquest
of Constantinople in 1453. After that, it was converted into a mosque. In 1935,
it was secularized and turned into a museum. However, in 2020, it was
reconverted into a mosque

Topkapi Palace - served as the primary residence of Ottoman sultans for almost
400 years. It was built in the 15th century by Sultan Mehmed II and expanded
upon by subsequent rulers. The palace complex includes stunning courtyards,
opulent chambers, and impressive collections of art, manuscripts, and relics.,

Blue Mosque - completed in 1616, was commissioned by Sultan Ahmed I. It is
renowned for its stunning blue tiles adorning the interior walls, giving it the
popular name "Blue Mosque." With its six minarets and a large central
dome, the mosque is an architectural masterpiece and an essential part of Istanbul's
skyline

Hippodrome - an ancient chariot racing and athletic track located in the
heart of Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul). Built by Roman Emperor Septimius
Severus in AD 203, it was a significant social center in the Byzantine Empire.
The Hippodrome witnessed numerous historical events, including political and
social gatherings.

Grand Bazaar - Established in the 15th century, the Grand Bazaar is one of the
oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Initially built shortly after
the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople, it has been a thriving commercial hub
for centuries. The bazaar is famous for its labyrinthine streets, vibrant
atmosphere, and diverse array of shops selling everything from spices and
textiles to jewelry and antiques.

Located twenty
kilometers from Batumi, Mirveti Waterfall is one of Georgia’s most stunning
waterfalls. Falling from a height of twenty meters from the cliffs near Mirveti
Village, this waterfall is made all the more enchanting by the beautiful trail
required to reach it. Walking through a sun-dappled forest of Colchic boxwoods,
you’ll have the chance to soak in the unique blend of sea and mountain air -
one of Adjara’s trademarks. Halfway to waterfall is walking way (about 25 – 30
minutes one way )

Uplistsikhe - meaning
"The Fortress of God" is an ancient cave town from the 1st half of
the 1st millennium BC. situated on the crossroads of important trade routes.
Uplistsikhe was a cult temple city, a large pagan center prior to Christianity
introduction in Georgia (the 4th century). At its peak of prosperity, the city
had a population of 20 000. Uplistsikhe is listed among the historical
monuments protected by UNESCO.

However, first and
foremost, Mtskheta-Mtianeti is
famous for the extremely important, ancient, historical and cultural monuments
of Georgia that are in it. The administrative center or major city of this
region is Mtskheta, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kartli (also known as
the kingdom of Iberia, as it was named in sources from Antiquity and
Byzantium), for a period of 800 years, starting in the 3rd century BCE. It can
be said without exaggeration that the sights of Mtskheta, such as the
settlements from the early Bronze Age, grand cathedrals built centuries ago,
and mighty fortresses, will make an impression of the rich culture of our
country.

Visit Metekhi Church of
the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is one of the oldest churches built in Tbilisi.

Sulfur baths - Chreli
Abano located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala
fort across Metekhisubani, Abanotubani is an important historic part of the
city — the place, where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang
Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and,
subsequently, to the founding of new capital.

Narikala’s fortress - is
nowadays the leading sighting among the most visited places in Tbilisi by
tourists. Narikala Fortress draws your attention from all sides of Tbilisi, you
can notice it from almost every part of Tbilisi. In Georgian sources, it is
called “Mother Fortress”. Narikala offers you some of the best panoramas of the
city. This is an ancient symbol of Tbilisi’s defensive brilliance. You will get
there by cable car.

You will drive north
towards the Northern Caucasus along the well-known Georgian Military Road
●
The first
stop will be at the Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes
(16-17th centuries) beautifully overlooking the Jinvali reservoir. The
buildings included in the complex are upper and lower fortress, fence, towers,
Church of the mother of God, Church of the Deity, “Mkurnali '' Church, bell
tower, octagonal cell, and reservoirs.

Continuing our drive to
see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being
different in color they keep their own colors even after merging.

Visit the Gudauri
Friendship monument. The monument is very vivid and colorful, however, most of
its beauty is thanks to the location.

Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and its amazing Mount Kazbegi,
where the Gergeti Trinity Church is built - located at an altitude of 2170 m.

From Kazbegi, ride in 4 WD vehicles through beautiful
valleys and woods reaching the Gergeti Trinity church. In good weather, you can
see one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – the mountain Kazbegi at
5047m. Enjoy breathtaking views, take pictures, breathe fresh air, and collect
lots of emotions.

We will visit Alaverdi Monastery - one of the most
impressive cultural monuments in all of Georgia. Built as a royal monastery in
the 11th century alongside such famous works as Bagrati Cathedral in Kutaisi,
Svetitskhoveli in Mtskheta, and Oshki in Tao-Klarjeti, it is a fantastic
example of Georgian religious architecture. Alaverdi was a spiritual and
cultural center for centuries. Famous Georgian writers, calligraphers, and
bibliophiles worked here

Ikalto Academy was the first higher education institution
in Georgia. It included various disciplines such as theology, astronomy,
philosophy, geography, geometry, viticulture, and pharmacology. In the 4th
century, Ikalto had a city status, and in the 6th century, the Assyrian Father
Zenon founded a monastery. In the 12th century, with support of King David
Agmashenebeli (the Builder), an academy of the monastery was established by the
teacher, philosopher, and cleric Arsen Ikaltoeli.

The Aleksandre Chavchavadze House Museum in Tsinandali is
one of the most exciting destinations in Kakheti that includes a winery and a
modest, but beautiful palace, whose history is closely intertwined with that of
Prince Alexander Chavchavadze’s family. Aleksandre Chavchavadze, a poet,
translator, military figure, businessman, and founder of Georgian romanticism,
played a key role in introducing European culture and education to Georgia,

Sighnaghi the city of love. Sighnaghi Fortress is one of
the largest fortresses of its kind in all of Europe and the South Caucasus.
Built by Erekle II, king of Kartli and Kakheti, in 1762, the fortress was of
immense strategic importance not only for Sighnaghi, but for all of Kakheti.

The half of the monastic complex is indeed cut from
granite monolith. The other half consists of natural grottos and caves which
were used as cells. The monastery was founded (presumably) in the 4 th century.
The interiors of the temples and cells richly decorated with ornaments and
bas-reliefs, the tombs of aristocratic families and other masterpieces of
underground architecture have brought Geghard the glory of one of the most
significant historical monuments, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage
Site.

centuries-old culture of the pre-Christian period of Armenia

Symphony of Rock
Stones. The object is a gorge, the rocks of which consist of huge basalt
pillars hanging above the ground at a height of about 50 meters. Their special
shape in the form of hexagons and vertical arrangement are very reminiscent of
organ pipes, and therefore the monument received several names - “Stone Organ”,
“Basalt Organ”, but is better known as “Symphony of Stones”
