treasures. Begin in the storied streets of Istanbul, cruise the Bosphorus and
explore imperial palaces, then fly to the lush Black Sea region for historic
Trabzon, the high-meadows of Ayder and the tranquil shores of Uzungöl. Continue
to the surreal white terraces of Pamukkale and the ancient ruins of Ephesus,
before soaring into Cappadocia’s otherworldly valleys. All transfers, guides

Your
Beautiful Tales of Turkey Tour starts here, we will collect you on arrival in
Istanbul from the airport and transfer you to your hotel so that you can get
settled in and relax. Overnight in Istanbul

After
breakfast, we have Istanbul City Tour. Our first visit will be HIPPODROME. Ancient Hippodrome was the
scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius,
the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Than we will visit SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE. Across
from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, it was built in the 16th century by the
architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent
interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Our next see will be HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE. The Hagia
Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply
the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque is the greatest surviving
example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years, it was once the largest
church in the world, decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Today
it is a mosque. You can see it from
outside. After
that see TOPKAPI PALACE, the great
palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an
exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by
the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury,
miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. You can
see it from outside. The
Basilica Cistern Museum is one
of the most important cultural assets where we can trace the traces of glorious
Istanbul history. With its 80,000-ton water storage capacity, Yerebatan
Cistern is the largest covered cistern in the city and stands out with more
reclaimed supporting elements compared to other covered cisterns. Covering an
area of approximately 10,000 square meters, this colossal structure has a
rectangular shape with a length of 140 meters and a width of 70 meters. You
can see it from outside. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Dinner at

Today
will see you sailing down the Bosphorus Straights and along to the Golden Horn
then heading to one of the best viewpoints over the whole city Before
your cruise, you will tour inside the Dolmabahce Palace, built between 1842 and
1853. The last 6 Sultans of the Ottoman Empire lived here. In 1923 Mustafa
Kemal Ataturk resided here in the summers until his death in 1938. This palace
is built the Neoclassical and Baroque Rococo styles. After leaving we will
embark on our cruise that leads from the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara one of
the first famous sites you will see from the boat is the Maidens Tower. This
tower has served as a lighthouse, a radio tower, a hospital, and now it serves
as a restaurant and museum. Sailing up
the Bosphorus, You will also enjoy a panoramic view of the Old Constantinople
Walls, which were built to protect Topkapi Palace from invaders. In its 1600
year history, these walls were only breached twice, saving the city from
invasion on many other occasions.
At
the Kucuksu Palace, built by Sultan Abdülmecid, we will stop for one hour,
Kucuksu translates to “small water”, although small it is grand in design. You
will return to the boat and pass by the Ciragan Palace, the magnificent Sultans
palace turned hotel. The main building burnt down in 1910, however, the
exterior structure stayed intact and was rebuilt in the early 1990s. You will
sail past the Ortakoy Mosque, with its distinctive pink mosaics, on your way to
cruising under the mighty Bosphorus Bridge where you will get the best views of
the Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer home of the Sultans. Then it's on to the
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, where, from the boat, you will see the mighty
Rumeli Castle, built by Mehmed in 1452.
At
the end of the cruise, we will change transport for a bus tour as we head back
to the old city, the bus tour begins in the Sultanahmet district with our
trusted guide it's then on over to the famous Pierre Loti Hill named after a
French novelist, who had a great passion for Istanbul, this is one of the most
romantic spots in the city. Here you will take a cable car to the top of this
viewpoint overlooking Istanbul and the Golden Horn. Try Turkish coffee at one
of the cafes, the ride back down has even more spectacular views of the city.
The bus will take you around the Old City Walls before returning to your hotel
around 17:00-18:00. Important
Note: Dolmabahce Palace is closed on Mondays and the tour will start two hours
later on this day.
Dolmabahce
Palace, Kucuksu Palace, and Pierre Loti Hill are the only sights you will tour
by foot. The other sights will be seen from the boat or bus. Overnight in

We
will pick you up at a pre-arranged time and go directly to the airport to catch
a domestic flight to Trabzon in the Black Sea region of Turkey.
Trabzon
City Tour
This
is a beautiful city full of history and some amazing architecture. Trabzon's
original name was recorded as Trebizond in 756 BC. This northern area of Turkey
is famed for its tea plantations. Ataturk’s Pavilion is here, this was the
holiday destination for the first president and also where he died making it an
important place in the hearts of most Turks. The pavilion is well preserved
with original furniture and the gardens are beautiful and offer amazing views
over the city. We will then go on to visit some incredible mosques such as
Yavuz Sultan Mosque, Iskender Pasa Mosque, and Fatih Mosque.
Another
place of worship we will visit whilst here is Kaymakli Monastery, an original
Armenian church. The sister museum of the great Hagia Sophia of Istanbul is
also here, Trabzon’s Hagia Sofia, once a Greek church now converted to a
mosque, today the building is a museum.
We will also visit the beautiful Zagnos Bridge it is a historical
monument, origins of the bridge are Roman, however, the bridge we see today was
added to and renovated. Overnight Stay in Trabzon.

Today's
journey takes you to the breathtaking, not to be missed Ayder Plateau one of
the wonders of this part of the Black Sea region. Here you will see a fantastic
Ottoman Stonebridge in the storm valley. The whole area of Ayder is filled with
simply stunning landscapes of intense green, small traditional villages where
the local craftsmen and women still weave cotton fabrics. Overnight in Trabzon

Today's
tour takes you to Uzungol Lake a protected area with a fantastic town on the
lakeside, here modern life blends sympathetically with nature. There are many
walking trails to be found here with great views of the mountains in the
distance. It is one of the most beautiful regions in Turkey. Overnight in

Today
you travel to Ephesus you will head to the airport for a Domestic flight to
Izmir. On arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in the region of the
ancient city of Kusadasi.

We depart for Pamukkale at 08:00 am. Upon arrival to Pamukkale we have a lunch break until 13:30 pm. Afterwards we shall visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. Denizli/Pamukkale means seaside in Turkish and is located on the Buyuk Menderes River. It is a growing industrial town, known for its textile industry and outlet shopping. You will visit one of the famous textile factories of Pamukkale. This tour will end approximately 18.30 and you will be back to your hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Kusadasi

A
city where over 200,000 people lived at one time it is incredible that so much
of it has survived for over 3000 years and is still being excavated and
preserved Ephesus is a place that most
people have seen pictures of or heard of but it never really prepares you for
the entirety of the city before you. It's amazing. Ephesus was the ancient
capital of Roman Asia, you will visit the Grand Amphitheatre with over 25,000
seats. The Library of Celsus which is one of the most photographed ruins in the
world, the Gymnasium, Agora, Latrines and Brothel. You will walk down the main
street where you are almost transported back in time with the shop fronts,
prison and civic buildings.
Temple
Of Artemis one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today one can only
see the ruins of the foundations of this huge temple built in the Hellenistic
Age, made completely of marble and full of columns capitals and shafts,
originally it was surrounded by 36 huge columns, later enlarged upon the orders
of the Lydian King Kreisos. Some of the most beautiful and the oldest
excavations dating back from the 6th century BC are today exhibited in the
London British Museum.
House
Of Virgin Mary The house is located on top of Bulbul Mountain, it offers
visitors a panoramic view over the town. A popular place of pilgrimage for many
Christians, it is believed Virgin Mary spent the remainder of her days here and
every year on August 15th there is a ceremony celebrating the assumption of
Mary.
Isabey
Mosque built by master builder Ali of Damascus its crown-like doors from the
Seljukian architectural style open up to the rest of the Mosque which is
combined with the decoration elements of the Ottoman style. The details
including the plant motifs and the beautiful marble workmanship and a variety
of mosaics create the wonderful atmosphere of the Isabey Mosque.
It
was built between the years of 1374 and 1375. A beautiful example of Seljukian
architecture, located below the shrine of Saint John. The rims of the domes are
decorated with tiles from Iznik in Bursa. Overnight accommodation

After breakfast, we depart for İzmir Airport for our domestic flight to
Cappadocia. Transfer from Kayseri airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is

your overnight bus journey from Pamukkale, you will arrive in the breathtaking
almost unbelievable lunar-like landscape of Cappadocia, we will meet you at the
bus station and you will get on with the North Cappadocia tour.
North
Cappadocia Tour : You
will enjoy a fantastic day in this spectacular region and soak up the sites all
around. Today you will be picked up from your accommodation then travel on to
visit some of the oldest settlements in the north Cappadocia region. You will
visit the Three Beauties, Open Air Museum and the Devrent Valley. Along with
visiting Avanos well noted for its handcraft industry especially pottery. Monks
Valley and also one of the best areas for a panoramic view of this area Goreme
Esentepe. Overnight
