- Yuntiandu Glass Bridge of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is a world‑famous landmark. Suspended around 300 meters above the canyon floor, this bridge is paved with multi‑layer transparent tempered glass. Walking across it offers you a thrilling “walk in the sky” experience, overlooking deep gorges and lush primeval forest. The scenic spot also features peaceful valleys, streams, waterfalls and karst caves.
- Known as “No.1 sacred mountain of western Hunan”, Tianmen Mountain is a top‑grade 5A scenic spot of Zhangjiajie. It is famous for Tianmen Cave, a huge natural karst hole piercing through the mountain. Take the world’s longest alpine cable car from downtown straight to mountain top. Don’t miss the thrilling cliff‑hanging glass skywalk and Guigu plank road. You will also see iconic sights: 99‑bend Tongtian Avenue and the 999‑step stairway to heaven. Sea‑of‑cloud views are frequent on misty days.

Hotel pick‑up & drop‑off in downtown Zhangjiajie. Private vehicle transfers to Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain in sequence. Tour order subject to ticket reservation, weather and traffic condition. Visit Yuntiandu Glass Bridge, then proceed to Tianmen Mountain. Take mountain cable car uphill, explore mountain‑top loop trail, glass skywalk and Tianmen Cave. Total duration:10‑12 hours. Scenic spots require real‑name time‑slot reservation; tickets are limited during peak seasons. Both sites are mountain areas with high‑altitude attractions.
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park is a famous 5‑A mountain scenic spot in western Hunan, well‑known for the natural through‑mountain Tianmen Cave. On a typical one‑day visit, guests board the world’s longest alpine cable car departing from downtown Zhangjiajie straight up to the mountain top, avoiding winding road transfers.
Two circular routes are available on the summit:
‑ West Route (Recommended): Features thrilling cliff‑side views including the Glass Skywalk (shoe‑cover fee required) and Guigu Plank Road. Traverse sheer cliff edges with panoramic views over peaks and sea‑of‑clouds.
‑ East Route: Quieter forest scenery with fewer crowds, observation decks overlook the city and karst peaks.
After completing the summit loop, take mountain escalators down to Tianmen Cave Plaza to admire the huge natural cave (131.5 m high). You may either climb the famous 999‑step Stairway to Heaven or take escalators down to cave bottom. Descend via the 99‑bend Tongtian Avenue by official scenic shuttle bus back to the main entrance.
