Day1,  Kunya-Urgench- Darvaza Our guide will meet you at the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and help you go through all the necessary formalities.  Be prepared that there may be a Covid testing procedure that costs $35. Pay in cash in us dollars.  A comfortable саr with air conditioning will be waiting for you to drive to the North province of Turkmenistan, to the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, the capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. Visit the Mausoleum of Nejmeddin al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Alp-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, and the highest minaret in Central Asia, Kutlug Timur. 14.00 -  After excursion driving through the Karakum desert to Darvaza – Water, Clay  and  Gas Craters, which is a huge flaming crater located 270 km (4-5 hours of journey).  In the evening, enjoy the spectacular and fascinating view of the Gas crater. Visit the Gas Crater. Stay in a camp with tasty catering - dinner at picnic-style -  the perfect way to enjoy this highlight. Observe the fantastic view of the crater during daylight and at night, feel the heat, and listen to the sound that this giant oven creates. Enjoy a delicious fire-cooked meal for dinner near. Overnight at the camp  in  yurt or tents under the starry sky.Day 2,  Darvaza-Ashgabat 06.00 - breakfast at the camp ? and  Drive to Ashgabat 270 km (4-5hours of journey).  On the way we will stop at the villages, Bahardok or Erbent to observe the rural life of Turkmen. Continuation of the trip. Before reaching Ashgabat we can visit the Eastern Bazaar (at yourrequest), shopping and buying national souvenirs - all of them handmade things. 12.00 - Arrival in Ashgabat.  - Ashgabat City Tour and Old Nisa fortress  -The Sanctuary of Parhian Kings, Nisa was the capital of Parthian Empire.  After excursions in Old Nisa, a sightseeing tour of Ashgabat, a «Health” trail in the mountains, a monument to Neutrality and a monument to Independence,  Ferris wheel, Wedding palace, TV tower and other attractions of the city. 19.00 - transfer to the railway station. 19.50 - Train departure from Ashgabat to Mary province. Overnight  in air conditioning sleeping car Day 3,   Mary\Merv - Farap 04.00 - train arrival to Mary city.  transfer to Old Merv. 05.00 - visit the historical monuments of the Old Merv fortresses (UNESCO WORLD HERİTAGE) Guided tour: Gyz Gala,  Erk Gala,  Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, İbn Zeid Mausoleum and etc. 09.00 - drive to Lebap province to Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan border. 5-6 hours of journey. 14.00- arrival at the Farap road border crossing.  End of the tour

Day 1: Arrive at Ashgabat and explore the cityLand in Ashgabat International Airport. Obtain a visa at the Airport and pay in cash there.After receiving your visa at the Airport, you will take the COVID test there (in the Airport), which costs $35$. You will pay in cash in American dollars. Then, you will claim your baggage. Please be aware that all these procedures may take about 2 hours.The tour guide will meet you with signboard at the meeting area. Transfer to the hotel check-in (early check-in)—short rest. 09.00 – visit the Museum of History and Ethnography of Turkmenistan.  A tour of the museum with a professional guide will take 2 hours. Visiting the museum complex exposition is divided into seven thematic galleries to store over 166,000 unique exhibits, many of which are of special historical and cultural importance. The Museum of History and Ethnography has ancient artifacts at the Nisa fortress, Merv and Gonur excavations, a collection of vintage Turkmen carpets, rare examples of national clothing, jewelries, and antique weapons.
