Karatay Han

Karatay Han takes place in Karadayi village in Kayseri Province. It is around 35 minutes' drive from the city center. The Karatay Han was built in 1240 by Seljuk Vizier Celalettin Karatay as a complex which included a small mosque, a Turkish bath, and a tomb. The inn is known for its exterior walls, which look like a castle, and the attentive stonework. Today, it is a well-preserved historical place and is used as a restaurant.
