Kurtkulagi Caravanserai

Kurtkulagi Caravanserai is situated 12 km southeast of Ceyhan District in Adana Province. It is at the same time located on the Adana-Aleppo caravan route, which was an important trade route during the Ottoman era. It was built by Huseyin Pasha in the 17th century, and the architect was Mehmed Aga. It resembles a castle, due to its thick and solid walls, more than a caravanserai. In 2006, it was restored.
