The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is a photographer’s paradise where the views from Poon Hill (3210m) are some of the most stunning in the entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. There are many soaring snow-covered peaks, such as Annapurna South (7219m), Machapuchare (6993m), Hiunchuli, Annapurna III, Dhampus peak and Dhulariri II. You will also enjoy visiting the Gurung and Magar villages where you will see and feel the genuine warmth of the locals while passing through the villages of Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk. The trails pass through lush green forests that are alive with beautiful white, pink and red rhododendron flowers (especially in spring) that make you constantly reach for your camera.
