This exciting 10-day adventure to Everest Base Camp (EBC) takes you to where Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay camped while preparing their ascent of Mt. Everest in 1953.The Everest base camp trek takes you to an altitude of 5364m which is a challenge, but with time spent acclimatizing beforehand is achievable. On this trek, you should be reasonably fit as there is no rest day on the trek. We take your health and safety seriously and will gradually head higher each day, allowing you time to acclimatize. This is an experience of a lifetime and will require willpower and determination on your part. If you prefer more time to acclimatize then you may opt for the full Everest Base Camp trek that gives you an extra day or two on the trail to acclimatize. The scenery and a profusion of flora and fauna make the journey to EBC more satisfying. This shorter trek gets you to EBC in just 10 days!Along the trail you will visit the Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar in the heart of the Khumbu District of Nepal and come across Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags, Mani stones (engraved with Buddhist mantras) and other Buddhist structures along the way. The region is a nature lover’s dream, with more than 1226 flowering plants species, 102 mammals, 474 birds, 33 reptiles and 22 amphibians. You will have some of the best views along the trail of many familiar Himalayan peaks: Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) Mt. Manaslu (8163 m), Mt. Annapurna II (7937 m.), Mt. Annapurna III (7555m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7525m), Mt. Annapurna south (7219m), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt. Machapuchare (6998m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Mt. However, the Unique Annapurna Circuit trek makes it possible to complete the circuit with shorter days on the trail without missing any of the wonderful natural beauty of the region. The trek takes you through the villages of Dharapani, Chame, Pisang, Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, and Thorong La Pass (5416m), Jomson then on to Pokhara. This 14 day Everest Base Camp trek (EBC-5365m) will take you to where they stood and panned their expedition to the peak of Mt. Everest. You will be trekking within the UNESCO and World Heritage Sagamartha National Park. On your way to EBC you will visit the famous Tengboche Monastery where you can see this enormous peak, as well as other 8000 meter mountains like Lhotse (8516m) and Makalu (8463m). This trek also takes you up to Kala Patthar (5643m), the closest view of Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks. At EBC you can see the Khumbu Glacier descending down from Everest.Your trek will take you through gorges, lush forests and across mountains before you reach EBC. Does a more remote trek with unspoiled natural beauty appeal to you? The Manaslu trek is a tough one physically, with up to 7 hour days on the trail, but the rewards are immensely satisfying. You will trek through high alpine passes while being surrounded by massive snow-laden peaks, with Manaslu (world’s 8th highest) at the center soaring 8163m into the sky. The Manaslu trek is considered a tougher trek than Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp treks. You will head through Larkya La Pass (5,106m), the highest altitude on the trek, and which is believed to be the most dramatic high altitude passes in the Himalayas. Glaciers are a common sight as they slowly make their way down the mountainsides. You will be stunned at how close some of these giant peaks appear to you along the trail. Mountains, such as Mt. Himalchuli (7,893m), Mt. Ganesh Himal (7,422m), and Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) appear straight above you and appear to be within a stone’s throw away. Don’t worry; you will be well prepared for the higher altitudes with several days of acclimatization at lower altitudes.The appeal of the Manaslu trek is due to it being “off the beaten track”, and accompanied with unspoiled scenery, culturally rich villages, biological diversity, and remote lodges/guesthouses. You will encounter both Hindu and Tibetan-style Buddhist villages with their unique architectural styles and cultures.The real legwork begins at Soti Khola and ends at Besisahar with the trail winding its way through Budhi Gandaki Valley, across numerous rivers, to the Pungen Glacier and to the ancient Tibetan settlement at Lho. This trek will leave you spell-bound, spiritually enriched from encounters at the various Tibetan Buddhist and Hindu villages and have you talking about this unforgettable journey a long time after you return home. You don’t have to be super-human to complete this trek, but some preparation and a good level of fitness will make it easier. Manaslu, meaning “Mountain of the Spirit” awaits you. This is 15 days of absolute pleasure! You can combine the Manaslu Circuit with a trip to the secluded Tsum Valley, where time has stood-still and century-old Tibetan traditions still exist.
